Dear Friends,
Heavy rains in the south of Peru have tremendously affected the Cusco region.
The tourist attractions of Cusco city and its surroundings are in perfect conditions. However, access to the citadel of Machu Picchu has been affected.
Train access to Machu Picchu will be repaired by the third week of March. Alternatively, all the other access routes to the citadel will be operating by the end of February.
We are collecting tangible non perishable items for the victims.
Fortunately our hotel Casa Andina Private Collection – Valle Sagrado is in good shape and has regular vehicular access to and from the property.
We are collecting,
- Drinking water and canned food.
- First Aid Kits.
- Plastic Coil for roofing
- Blankets, coats or clothes in general.
- Inflatable mattresses.
- Tents
We are receiving donations in four of our hotels: the Casa Andina Private Collection hotels – Miraflores, Cusco, Puno and Casa Andina Classic - Arequipa. Everything will be sent to our hotel Casa Andina Private Collection – Valle Sagrado to be distributed within the area.
